Part 1
The first stop was Hagley Premier Inn near Birmingham. We stopped off at the new services a Gloucester, which was nice.
That night, we ate at The Beefeater across from the hotel. The service was awful but Chris from the Premier Inn heard about it and managed to get us a refund. She was really fantastic.

start – straight off for Scotland. Breakfast was great!!
The drive up there was hard. I was constantly falling asleep but we finally got there – Dumfries. I would say it was one of the better Premier Inns. The restaurant was a Table Table and was FAB! I had Chicken & Ribs and Lucie had curry. Then of course, Black Forest Sundae.
Part 3
Loch Lomond..!!
Went to meet Mark there. We met at a place called Duck Bay Marina. What a fantastic place – food and views. I had Steak & Sausage Pie, which was beautiful. My Sweetheart had (what I think they called) – a Beef Longboat. It just looked wonderful.
The drive to Fort William was superb. Lucie took some great photographs.
She took some great photos of the hills with the clouds coming down.
The hotel could have been better but it was ok. At least we had a laugh at the owners expense – ha ha.
